Dear Colleagues,
Today, I am addressing you as the 'congress scientific chairman' of the 10th International Osseointegration Congress, which will be held on September 26-28, 2024 by ‘Osseder Scientific Society’. As you know, Osseder is the first and only dental association of our country focused on implantology. I am sure you can witness the work of this association, which has proven itself with continuous online trainings, seminars, one-day speaker activities and international congresses that have become traditional.
The 10th International Congress of Osseointegration is the most important of these events for the year 2024. We want to offer you a great congress experience where you can listen evidence-based studies of academicians not only from Turkey, but 6 different countries as well. And all this scientific program will be accompanied by rich social events and a trade fair which our industry partners will share their products and future ideas.
Treatment possibility with implants made a breakthrough in our profession for the last 30 years. Today, it is difficult to offer a treatment plan without the use of implants in many cases. However, implant treatment carries its own risks. It is open to complications from diagnosis stage till the end of treatment including the follow-up period. In order to prevent complications or to solve them in the most effective way, we all need to know the treatment methods for this challenging situations.
From this point of view, we chose the main theme of this year's congress as ' Sustaining implant success:Re-examining the milestones. From diagnosis to complications.’ I am sure that this event will be a good opportunity for improving our personal professional knowledge and quality of service we offer to our patients. I conclude by hoping to see you all at our congress on September 26-28, 2024.
